GROOVED PIN

       GROOVED PIN

  •  INTRODUCE

Grooved pins are solid cylindrical pin with three longitudinal grooves,
manufactured from bar or coill stock. The  three grooves are pressed into the
cylindrical body to expand its diameter to a size greater than its normal  diameter
in a precisely controlled way. Manufactures from bar or coil stock. This creates a
     strong spring mechanism.

  • PURPOSE
Grooved pin’s main function is making a fixed position to use fast. If two
components need to cooperate accurately, it can be a standard. If two components
should cooperate accurate and need not to correct, then the pins will be available.
  • GROOV-PIN TYPES
There are fifth basic types of Groov-Pins with groove structure designed to serve
the specific needs of specific applications. Each pin type is available in a wide range of
     diameters, lengths, materials and  finishes.
  • SPECIFICATION
Details about Grooved pins specifiction can see our company's  website:
           http://www.topscrew.com.tw .

  • HOW DOES IT WORK
When Groov-Pins pressed into a hole the size of the pin original diameter, the
hole compresses the expanded pin and creates a powerful hold. This unique locking
action is accomplished will never deformation of either the pior base material.

  •  INSTALLATOION METHOD
There has three half-length grooves and suitable for use in both blind and through
holes as a spring anchor pin.

   1.      Drilled and deamed hole.

       2.      Press or drive into place.

3.      Lock securely and easy to separate.

  •  ADVANTAGE OF GROOVED PIN
§             It is solid structure make them stronger.
§             It is withstanding severe shock, even with axial displacement.
The spring-like locking force created by the grooved pin a hole the size of the
pin nominal diameter, is very resistant to vibration and shock.
§             It driven with hammer, air cylinder or hydraulic press.
§             It can be hopper-fed for automatic installation.
§             There are different grooved types for a wide range of application.
The locking properties of grooves can be used with pins made of many
different materials, such as conductivity or corrosion-resistance, may be important.
§             It is only requiring a straight drilled hole.
§             It is easy to install and quick to assembly.
§             It can be removable and reusable.
